PERAN LEMBAGA KEUANGAN TERHADAP PENGEMBANGAN UMKM DI KOTA MALANG

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the role of Microfinance institutions(MFIs) in developing UMKM. The purposive sampling method is used to determine the location, sampling with judgment sampling and convenience. Descriptive analysis guided by data from in-depth interviews through focus Group discussions, as well as IPA analysis (Important Performant Analysis) by utilizing Cartesian diagrams. The results of the analysis showed a level of conformity with the interests of Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) actors of 100.37% (One hundred and thirty-seven percent). The strategies that can be done so that in the future its role will be increasing including: Human Resource Empowerment (HR) internally, Monitoring of Malang City MFI, Technology in managing, Communication intensity between MFI administrators in Malang City through formal and informal vehicles so that there is a synergy between MFIs Malang City as a UMKM partner, integrated debtor information system between bank and non-bank financing institutions to prevent recurring financing of UMKM, linkage and channeling financing models, Protection of the rights and obligations of MFI members against MFI management irregularities that harm MFI members.
