Abstract

The Smart City concept means an intelligent approach to building an integrated city to address the increasingly complex city problems, especially as the population increases. Research method with descriptive approach,and data collection consists of primary data obtained directly through the field and secondary data obtained using related reference data. Based on the literature of the literature, the variables will be discussed and examined in the Malang City Smart City Roadmap research. The indicator used in the smart city of Malang City comes from the compilation between Boyd Cohen, ISO, UNECE, and adjusted to the characteristics of Malang City. These indicators include: in the smart environment there are electricity, renewable energy, greenhouse gas emissions, quality, waste, clean water, climate resilience, spatial planning, green space, and settlements. Smart economy has trade, cooperatives, the tourism industry, and unemployment. The Smart Living is traditional culture, cultural heritage, smart libraries, poverty, life expectancy, infant mortality, maternal mortality, disaster vulnerability, and smart crime prevention. The results of scoring / weighting on the Malang City Smart score card are 3 indicators classified into low class (score of 10) on renewable energy, sensor coverage, and smart electricity so that performance improvements (quality and coverage) are needed and smart (innovation and technology) is implemented in the community.
