Abstract

Feasibility Study of Vertical Parking Development in Malang City is a study aimed to determine the feasibility level of the location of vertical parking building construction in Malang City. The analysis used is policy analysis, parking performance analysis, parking demand projection analysis and feasibility analysis. The parking performance survey was carried out at four locations. Gajahmada Street (Malang City Government road), Gajahmada Street (in front of Malang City Government), Tumapel Street, and Mojopahit Street. The survey is carried out weekdays, Saturdays and weekends weekends. Obtained the highest parking index on Jalan Tumapel at the weekend of  0.30, while the lowest parking index occurred at Jalan Gajahmada (in front of the Malang City Government) of 0. Based on the reflection of parking space requirements, it is concluded that in 2024 the total number of parking spaces and the required area 1,553 SRP with an area of 17,860 m2. The feasibility analysis of vertical parking buildings is viewed from four aspects, namely technical aspects, environmental and health aspects, economic aspects, and social aspects ... based on all aspects of the feasibility analysis that the value of the former DLH location is 51 and for the City Hall location it is also 51. So that both are said to be feasible. for built vertical parking.
