Abstract

The Consumer Dispute Settlement Agency (BPSK), has the authority to supervise the inclusion of standard clauses. In its implementation BPSK experienced problems, because there were no rules for implementing it. Supervision responsibility without the strength to take action does not give a deterrent effect to those who commit the violation. This research is expected to complete the supporting rules from monitoring the inclusion of standard clauses and the authority to impose sanctions by BPSK. This research is an empirical legal research, juridical, which discusses the mechanism of supervision of the Inclusion of the Standard Clause by BPSK and the follow-up of BPSK if the violation of the provisions of the standard clause in the Consumer Protection Act. The results of this study are that in order to maximize the supervisory function by BPSK, there needs to be a specific guideline that can be used as a guide and reference by BPSK to carry out its duties, especially the supervision of standard clauses.
