Abstract

The credit services and programs provided by BMT Syariah help traders to get fresh funds that can facilitate their members in borrowing capital. Of the various financing strategies offered by various cooperatives so far, traders still tend to not know even do not want to borrow capital from financial institutions because they have to meet complicated requirements, high administrative costs and so on financing. The results of the study explained that Malang Market Pakis traders in carrying out their trading activities use various sources of capital. Some of the sources of capital include using their own capital, capital from Baitul Maal Watamwil, capital from moneylenders, and have borrowed any more. There are also informants who have never borrowed from loan sharks. Traders in determining the choice of capital sources will have various considerations and reseasons so that the choice of capital sources can provide benefits for these traders. Traders in determining their preferences are adjusted to their abilities and suitability for use. In additions, the majority of traders also determine the choice of source of capital in view of the loan application and loan repayment procedures that are easy. That is because traders do not want to be burdened with financial institutions that set complicated requirements and procedures.
