Abstract

This study aims to: (1) compile a Creative Economy Number Measurement document in the form of a creative economy GRDP from 16 creative economy sub-sectors in Malang City in 2018. (2) project or forecast the number of PDRB creative economy in Malang for 2019 to 2023. Approach The method used is a quantitative approach with survey methods and secondary data. Survey with a sample of n = 416 business fields. GRDP Calculation The creative economy in this study uses the production GRDP approach, namely the total value added of all economic activities, where added value is obtained from output minus intermediate consumption. The results of this study are: (1) PDRB ADHB Malang City’s total creative economy through a survey of Rp. 7.70714 trillion and ADHK GRDP of Malang City’s total creative economy through a survey of Rp. 5.616 trillion. (2) Projection of the growth of the creative economy GRDP of Malang City based on constant prices is increasing every year, namely growth of 8.10% in 2019, 8.20% in 2020, 8.44% in 2021, 8.70% in 2022 and grew by 8.93% in 2023. (3) the leading sub-sectors of the creative economy of Malang were culinary, craft, and fashion, while the priority sub-sectors were Application and Game Developer; Film, Animation and Video; Music.
