Measuring income inequality using the gini index only represents macro income inequality. In this study, we try to see inequality from the micro side with a focus on the social and economic aspects. This study is also expected to be able to detect the encourage of inequality and income distribution. The variables used to proxy social variables are education, health, and entrepreneurship. Meanwhile, the variables used to proxy economic
variables are asset ownership, productivity and income inequality. The analytical method used is path analysis with PLS analysis tools. The results of this study indicate that the variables that are able to encourage income equalization are the variables of Education, Health, Entrepreneurship, and Productivity. While the variable that encourage income inequality is the Asset Ownership variable.
