ANALISIS ANGKA PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI KOTA MALANG

Abstract

The city of Malang is a plateau with an altitude between 440-667 meters above sea level and the population to date is 820,943 people. From an economic standpoint, the total value of GRDP at current prices in 2010 was Rp. 30,802,611.88 while at a constant price of Rp. 14,044,625.15 with the largest contribution contributed by the trade sector, hotels, restaurants, the manufacturing industry sector and the service sector. The study area of the preparation activities for the analysis of the Malang City Economic Growth Rate in 2014 was the entire area of Malang City, which covered the area of Malang City 110.06 km2, and consisted of 5 subdistricts and 57 urban villages. The type of data used is quantitative data sourced from secondary data. Quantitative data are data that can be identified as GRDP data, sectoral production, population, number of workers and others. These data are collected from off-line publications and on-line from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). There are several analysis tools that will be used to achieve the objectives of this study activity. The analysis tools include: descriptive statistical analysis, Location Quotient (LQ) analysis and Shift-Share (SS) analysis and trend analysts.
