Abstract

Regional economic development is a process whereby local governments and communities manage the existing resources and form a partnership pattern between the government and the private sector to create new jobs or employment opportunities and stimulate economic growth. The purpose of the study Information Economic Development and Natural Resources of Malang is to explain and inform the availability of accuracy data and
information of economic development and natural resources in Malang City.Application policy of vision and mission of the mayor, so that the figure of the mayor has a very influential role in policy-making. Development policy in Malang City is a policy that is not radical forward. More specifically the approach will be done. Institutional approach is done by coordination and communication in high frequency will greatly assist smoothness and success of planning and technical approach, study of criteria or method of calculation that will be used cover natural resource balance and economic calculation of region.
