ANALISIS DAMPAK SEKTOR UNGGULAN KOTA MALANG TERHADAP PEMBERLAKUAN MASYARAKAT EKONOMI ASEAN (MEA)

Abstract

This research wanted to see how far the preparation of Malang in facing MEA, obstacles faced and strategy which done by government of Malang in facing MEA. The research used descriptive method with qualitative approach by collecting primary data from related offices of Malang, SME actors, universities, private and secondary data sourced from existing references. The results of this study outline of the three main sectors of Malang's economy are the most prominent of industry and SMEs, Tourism and Trade can be quite successful when viewed from the economic growth above average economic growth of East and national Java. Efforts of Malang Government has not been optimal because it is still in a position on going process to build economic sector of Malang. It is necessary to build a working cohesiveness across OPD in Malang Government and to build a synergic cooperation  between local government of Malang Raya to support the positive interdependence system that has been naturally created among the people in Malang Raya so that it can give symbiosis of mutualism of the three local governments in Malang Raya and mutual support to jointly face the era of ASEAN joint market.
