Indonesia has so many potential resources, but so few people know the importance of management, utilization and spatial planning in Indonesia. Over time, many future generations have ignored their role in spatial planning, causing a lack of understanding of the meaning and importance of spatial planning in building prosperity in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the participation of the community, especially the youth generation in urban spatial planning and the importance of improving the quality of human resources who can play an active role in Indonesian spatial planning starting from education. This research was carried out on a large or small population of data obtained through sampling. The qualitative research method that we use takes the form of a case study technique in which the presentation of the existing conditions is of various perspectives with complete descriptions. Kademangan District is an urban area in Blitar Regency, East Java Province. It has an area of 105.11 km² and with a population of 73,327 thousand in 2021. The results of this study will be used as information related to youth participation in spatial planning.
