REVIEW/MONITORING DAN EVALUASI SISTEM INOVASI DAERAH (SIDA) KOTA MALANG

Abstract

Regional economic development efforts aim to increase the number and various potential opportunities that can improve the economy of the local community, therefore an active role is needed from the community and also the local government in exploiting the regional potential. Based on the Joint Regulation between the Minister of Research and Technology and the Minister of Home Affairs Number 3 and 36 of 2012, the Government of Indonesia seeks to increase the capacity of each regional government, especially about efforts to increase regional competitiveness through Strengthening the Regional Innovation System (SIDa). The City of Malang has compiled a Roadmap for Strengthening SIDa for Malang City for 2021-2025 which refers to the 2018-2023 RPJMD but based on the results of monitoring and evaluation of the 2020 SIDa Roadmap action plan, several problems have been found which then become strategic issues that hinder the realization of activities, and so on. . Therefore, the PSIDa (Strengthening Regional Innovation System) approach is needed in the preparation of the Malang City SIDa Change Roadmap for 2021-2025 which has urgency in the process of innovative regional development that prioritizes the potential advantages of Malang City.
