Abstract

The economic development of the city always has an impact on the density of traffic flows. Traffic density will not be separated from the aspect of traffic volume that affects road performance and road service levels. High volume of traffic, including at intersections. resulting in chaotic traffic conditions. An intersection is a transportation node formed from several approaches, where the flow of vehicles from these various approaches meets and scatters leaving the intersection. This study aims to determine the existing conditions, identify and analyze the traffic volume of intersections in Malang City. The calculation of intersection traffic volume, average daily traffic data (LHR) is carried out on weekdays and holidays in three times, namely at 07.00-08.00 (morning), 12.00-13.00 (noon), and at 16.00-17.00 (afternoon). Field data collection by direct observation (traffic counting survey). intersections Jl. Jombang-Jl. Bondowoso, intersections Jl. Retawu-Jl. Bondowoso, intersections Jl. Ijen-             Jl. Jakarta, and intersections Empat Jl. Ikan tombro-Jl. Terusan Piranha, Service Level or performance of road crossing with a value of C. Performance of intersections Jl. Tunggul Wulung and intersections Gajayana (Sardo) is F. For this reason, it is necessary to improve, plan and model the right, especially at intersections that have low performance.
